Wisdom from Grandmother Moon

Samhain, one of two “hinges” in the Irish year, is a good time to reflect and release so that we can begin the new journey with Father Sun with fresh eyes … perhaps letting go of “facts” and assumptions that were really just self-limiting beliefs. Some of these are so very deep, formed as early as our childhood, and it can be so freeing when we release their burden.

By letting go of those filters, those burdens of unwanted baggage, the world can look very different … and our new immram (voyage, in Irish) of the year becomes an inner journey with new possibilities…. and new territories.

What is calling for release?

What new immram is beckoning?

In the words of author and philosopher Marcel Proust,

“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.”
