I am slowly coming out of a chaotic period of change, loss, and illness (my own, and loved ones around me) that began at Samhain last year… and it feels like that chaos is finally waning. It has been a very challenging process of endings, change and new beginnings… a rebirth that was unexpected yet profound.

It has been exhausting as I — at times — struggled to find my footing, to (re)ground myself, and slowly find my strength once again and personal commitment to ritual and meditation. It feels like rebirth and renewal, and rediscovering my Self.

Being with the women in my online Facebook Circle (the Wise Woman Bean Gealach Circle) — and writing the course “13 Moons, 13 Goddesses” — has been part of that healing, as I connected with each Divine Feminine archetype and transformed with those goddess energies throughout the year.

Now, each day I find new inspiration in the world around me and in writings by or shared by others.

Today’s inspiration came from the delicious delightful Summer Magic course offered by Molly Remer of Brigid’s Grove. If you are not yet a member of Molly’s Facebook group, the Creative Spirit Circle, do check it out (along with her website). Her work is truly special.

This quote she shared by author Boris Pasternak perfectly captures my relationship with Mama Earth and and what is essential in my life:

In the fields, she stopped and took a deep breath of the flower scented air. It was dearer to her than her kin, better than a lover, wiser than a book. And for a moment she rediscovered the purpose of her life. She was here on earth to absorb its wild enchantment.

I too am reclaiming my wild enchantment!

How do you connect with your wild and sacred self?
