Just keep moving…. simple yet profound advice.

There are very many ways of expressing and living our spirituality.

At times we are in the flow, in the rhythm. It feels right, good, and we sense we are in alignment. These feelings can be comfortable and comforting, an affirmation of our choices.

But sometimes it may not feel like you are moving forward, especially as you move into new — and possibly uncomfortable — territory. Suddenly you’re out of your comfort zone… familiar landmarks and feelings may not be present. There may be anxiety, fear, confusion…and perhaps a feeling of wanting to return to former ways of being.

But trust that you are moving forward. And trust that it’s okay to not know where you are headed, and it’s okay to experience things differently. As you release your old mindsets, new possibilities may emerge… ones that you might not have imagined before.

The Unknown will soon feel like a fascinating place to visit, where you can discover new — or hidden, submerged — aspects of your Self and perhaps a new path.

To quote Pema Chodron:

“The spiritual journey involves going beyond hope and fear, stepping into unknown territory, continually moving forward. The most important aspect of being on the spiritual path may be to just keep moving.”
