The Full Moon in Capricorn arrived 16-July at 21:38 UTC, accompanied by a partial lunar eclipse.
The Full Moon marked the midpoint in this month’s lunar journey, and we will be in the energy of last night’s Full Moon (and the partial lunar eclipse) for the next couple of days as Seanmháthair Gealach (Grandmother Moon, in Irish Gaelic) shifts from waxing to waning.
Are you feeling that powerful energy… or perhaps the need (or strength) to release?
The energy of the eclipse can raise our awareness to our own transformation, to the shifts in perspective that have been whispering quietly just under the surface of our conscious minds… urging our hearts and souls to align with our growth, our new Self.
And yet, sometimes the thought of change can be daunting… letting go of familiar patterns or beliefs, even if they no longer serve us. They may feel comfortable, they may feel “safe”. And we may not consciously know what the letting go will bring… although we can trust that our Wise Inner Self is fully aware!
But if we are letting go of pain, or a relationship that no longer serves us or honours us, or beliefs that no longer reflect who we are… Can the change be worse than what we are hanging onto? Can the discomfort in change outweigh the possibilities that exist when we step into our powerful, authentic, inspired, wondrous Self?
Create space for something wonderful to come in.
